HomeEndHQ is made by Imaginitivo, a software company in Hastings, United Kingdom. If you have a question about your data, or want it deleted, email [email protected].
Each club's app is operated for that club. Where a club publishes the app under its own account, the club decides what is collected and why (it is the data controller) and Imaginitivo acts on the club's instructions (the processor), under a written agreement. During the current pilot, where the app is published by Imaginitivo, Imaginitivo is the controller.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your email address and password | To create your account and let you sign in. The password is stored only as a cryptographic hash — we never see it. |
| Your name, and your phone number if you give one | So the club can tell members apart. Neither is shown to other members. |
| Which club you belong to, and whether you are a club administrator | To show you your club's content and nobody else's, and to decide who may post. |
| Which teams you follow, and which alerts you want | So a goal alert reaches people who asked for it and no one else. |
| A notification token for each device, and whether it is an iPhone or Android | The only way to send a notification to your phone. Created only if you allow notifications. |
| Match events you post, if you are a club administrator | They are the club's match record. Your name is not shown against them. |
We do not collect location, contacts, photos from your device, or analytics about how you use the app. There is no advertising and no tracking across other apps or websites.
Accounts are for adults only. The app is not intended for under-18s and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. Clubs run junior teams, and junior fixtures and results may appear as club content, but children do not hold accounts. If you believe a child has registered, email us and we will delete the account.
In a database hosted by Supabase in London, United Kingdom. Each club's data is separated at the database level, so one club cannot read another's.
Two things necessarily leave that database:
Until you delete your account. You can delete it yourself in the app — Settings, then "Delete my account". That removes your account, your alert choices and your devices immediately and permanently. Match events you posted as an administrator stay with the club as part of its record, with your name removed from them.
If a club stops using HomeEndHQ, its members' accounts are deleted within 30 days of the club's app being withdrawn.
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect.
